The Gacads and the Subangs "officially" met to talk about the wedding on Saturday January 22, 2011. It went very well overall. Mark's whole family including his two aunts came over to my house.
As this is my mom's first "Pamanhikan", it makes sense for her to stress out a bit. =) She made us clean the whole house from top to bottom. Even my room (who has been needing a lot of TLC for sometime) was spic and span by the time Mark and his family came over. In fact my mom commented, "Sana laging pumunta ang familia ni Mark dito." Ha ha!
It started off with a blessing for the food led by my fiancé (love referring to him as that). After dinner, the "kids" went downstairs to watch a movie, while the adults mingled. After about half an hour, we were called to join the adults upstairs ... dum dum dum ....
Once we were with the adults, they pretty much talked to us about the wedding details. When, where, etc.
